Dining Etiquette: Are You Awkward?

I’m not one to eat out often, and when I do it’s never at a fancy restaurant. It occurred to me that because I’m so accustomed to my own culture’s dining etiquette, I don’t actually know what the ‘norm’ for etiquette is. Every culture has its own set of etiquette and table manners, and perhaps because of my obliviousness, I do not know what others would consider to be a ‘norm’.

So what about you? Are you well versed in the dining etiquette of different cultures? Maybe if children are taught at school that might eliminate some of this awkwardness. Because it sure is awkward to sit down in a restaurant and not know what all the utensils are or how to eat the meal.
