I found this post by Leadership Freak to be quite helpful, so take a read!
Audrey Hepburn. An icon for her beauty and grace and humanitarian efforts.
I can’t actually recall when I first discovered Audrey Hepburn, both for her films and fashion, but I remember how once I saw her sense of style I fell in love. The classic, clean lines and effortlessness of her clothes took my breath away. I love how minimal it was. It was a breath of fresh air from the glitz and glamour of some of the other celebrities of her day.
In my eyes, all of her films are classics. Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Roman Holiday, Funny Face, are just a couple of movies from her body of work. While her body of work is not as extensive as some of the other celebrities of her time, they always struck a chord with me.
Audrey’s work with UNICEF and other charities has always set her apart from others. She continued with humanitarian work well into her old age, and for these reasons (and others not mentioned or else we’ll be here for a few hours) Audrey Hepburn is one of my role models.
